I don't like being 29.
It's not because it's one year older or one year away from 30. I don't care about that, although I reserve the right to change my mind at this time next year. I don't like it because I don't feel any different.
I don't foresee many milestones this year. I might have one or two up my sleeve...or uterus (kidding!). But I want this year to be different. I don't want to plod along, particularly because I don't want to look back on this time of life before kids and feel like I wasted it. I want something to show for it. Of course, there is certainly something to be said for the intangible progress like building a marital foundation and savings account. But those aren't as fun to scrapbook. : )
So, I decided to do what I do best: make a list.
I now present (trumpet blaring: dum dum da du-u-um!)...the 29 list. 29 things that I'd like to do while I'm 29.
So here we go. Embracing 29 and making it memorable.

#2 run a 10K
#6 get cool handwriting
#7 go on a cruise
#10 watch 5 foreign films
#11 update the living room (here's the "just kidding" post)
#12 do something with my eye makeup
#14 submit one page per month
#15 apply to 2 design teams
#17 get a library card and use it
#19 read a classic mystery writer
#23 learn to make Gratziano's cheese bread
#24 learn to make really good peach cobbler from scratch
