It's a birthday cake snow cone with cream, and it's delicious. Tastes just like cake batter ice cream from Coldstone Creamery, but with 225 calories and 5 grams of fat instead of 340 and 19. And yes, those are sprinkles on top. : )
I always get cream with my snow cones because that's just how I roll. A word to the wise: do NOT get the sugar-free cream. It tastes like baking soda, but with chunks. [shudder]
Speaking of cooling off on hot days (okay, so it's not a perfect transition), I made this page last month for the design team at Crop-Paper-Scissors.
Cardstock: Bazzill. Patterned paper, brad: American Crafts. Letters: American Crafts Thickers, Niki Riki. Pen: Sharpie. Ribbon, thread.
I took this photos of my friend's little girl when they were visiting. Considering it was one of the few times I've photographed a toddler and that it was outside, I think they turned out pretty well. I machine-stitched around the perimeters of the papers. I hand-cut out the waves and used pop dots on a few of the waves to make them, well, pop. I love love love the pink bow. It's a little unexpected, but so cute.
You can see how to make the ribbon swirl flower here. If you're in Central Texas, swing by Crop Paper Scissors to see the page and buy the product.
Happy Wednesday! Grab a snow cone to help you through the rest of the week!
