Hello hello,
Mostly for my own entertainment, here's my list for Taylor's second album, Fearless. I did the same thing for Speak Now and Red.
Winner winner chicken dinner: Fearless. It's the perfect complement to Sparks Fly on the Speak Now album.
Favorite lyrics: "And I don't know why but with you I'd dance in a storm in my best dress, fearless." +"You're just so cool, run your hands through your hair/absentmindedly making me waaaaant yoooou!"
The instantly love song: The Other Side of the Door. Every girl wants to be chased through her stubbornness.
Favorite lyrics: "What I mean is/I still leave but Baby all I want is you.../to stand outside my window throwing pebbles screamin', 'I'm in love with you!!!' " + "with your face and your beautiful eyes/with the conversation with the little white lies/and the faded picture of a beautiful night/you carry me from the car up the stairs/and I broke down crying/"Was she worth this mess?"/after everything in that little black dress/after everything I must confess/I neeeeed you"
Best song trio: Tell Me Why/You're Not Sorry/The Way I Loved You on repeat while you're driving from Waco to Houston in the rain.
Favorite lyrics: Tell Me Why: "You could write a book on how to ruin someone's...perfect...daaaa-ayyy-ayyy-aa-ayyy!" + "Here's to you and your temper/yes, I remember what you said last niiiight." You're Not Sorry: "And it's taken me this long, baby, but I figured you out." The Way I Loved You: Of course the chorus..."But I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain/It's 2 a.m. and I'm cursing your name/I'm so love that I acted insane/And that's the way I loved you" + the whole rest of the song. ; )
Favorite alternate version song: Forever & Always [Piano Version] on [Platinum Edition]
Favorite lyrics: "And you feel so low you can't feel nothin' at all."
The one that I can't sing all the way through without crying: Change.
Favorite lyrics: "These walls that put up to hold us back...FELL DOWN! This revolution/throw your hands up cuz we never gaaaaaave in! And we sing hallelujah..." from the last chorus, which is where it all falls apart for me.
Happy Wednesday. : )
