I am at this moment listening to Mumford & Sons "I Will Wait" on repeat and have been for as long as it takes to rack up 21 plays in a row. It's just so romantic...I will wait, I will wait for you. And he says it like 30 times. Sigh. I should probably just watch The Notebook and get over it.
Here's a page I made to mark our seven years of marriage.
Supplies: Ledger paper: Jenni Bowlin. Patterned paper, journal cards, alpha stickers: Lily Bee. Felt alphas: Martha Stewart. Mist: Studio Calico. Stamp: Lawn Fawn. Ribbon: Making Memories. Pearls, paint, cardstock.
Here's my sketch:
I realized while I was looking for an anniversary trip photo that Dave and I didn't take an anniversary trip this year. : ( I found this one that Lindsey took in April. We were having dinner with her and her husband at Bangkok Royale (I think this will be its own page shortly). I edited the photo quite a bit before I printed it, which I don't usually do, so I thought it'd be interesting to show you. Here's the before and after.
Yowzahs. Well, it looks better printed as a 2.25" x 2.25" on matte paper.
"I wanna go out with you!! I wanna go out with you!!!!" "Alright, already, we'll go out!"
"Will you dance with me?" "Here? You're not supposed to dance in the street." "You're not supposed to dance in the street."
"You're a terrible dancer." "I know." "But I like this song."
"Say I'm a bird! Say I'm a bird!!" "If you're a bird, I'm a bird."
"Don't I get a say?" "Do you want a say?" "Uh huh. I want blue shutters."
"We're not breaking up, are we? We're not, right? Tomorrow it'll be like none of this ever happened, right?"
"Why didn't you write me?!" "I wrote you 365 letters!! I wrote you every day for a year!!"
And those are just off the top of my head. ; )
