This is actually perfect because the story that evolved from making this page is one of my favorite things, twofold.
First fold: Emmalie at the store asked me to make a display page. She said to pick what I wanted and then do what I do. : ) Y suggested that I remake a page of my favorite things. Done.
Second fold: I love asking Dave to do favors for me, like dropping my page off at the store. And since it was incredibly muggy outside when I tried to photograph my page before work, I also asked Dave to take some photos for the blog. : )
Supplies: Patterned paper, alpha stickers: October Afternoon. Fabric paper: Dear Lizzy + American Crafts. Stamp: Jenni Bowlin. Rub ons: Studio Calico. Washi tape: Freckled Fawn, American Crafts. Envelope: Maya Road. Chipboard alphas, clip: American Crafts. Twine: The Twinery. Brads: Dear Lizzy + American Crafts, The Girls' Paperie. Pen: Sharpie. Acrylic paint.
I think the butterfly stamp, stamped off the page and "under" the fabric, is my favorite thing. And the heart brad. And the chevron paper. And the striped paper. And sewing the alpha stickers. And using my pinking shears on the fabric paper. And the fabric-covered alphas.
That's probably it.
Oh, and that Dave took these amazing pics for me! Not bad, right? They're even similar to my style. I bet he reads the blog...
