It's been a month since I planted everything for the front flowerbed and porch, and I've discovered the secret to keeping plants alive - you have to water them.
From top to bottom: creme brulee coreopsis, Rhea Mealycup sage, sweet basil, boxwood basil, sweet potato vine.
The Mexican heather, English lavender, red star autumn sage, and delosperma are all growing but not blossoming.
Here's one of the hydrageas that we planted a few years ago. I know, it's a lot of brown, but look at the new growth in the middle with a glass-half-full perspective. : )
The coneflower and one of the sweet potato vines are dead. I don't have secrets for those. The sweet potato vine died literally in the span of one day.
But our other flowerbed is blossoming better than it ever has. Again, just from watering. : )
Right?! Success. : )
