I'm taking my 2011 motto to heart, and I just started by ordering this "just start."
And then I made a page. : )
Supplies: Patterned paper, tags, felt flower: American Crafts. Chipboard glitter alphas: Making Memories. Rub-on: Hambly. Punch: Martha Stewart. Cardstock, ribbon.
On Monday when I was at work, a friend and I were talking. She told me a story, and I made a joke. I came home and told Dave the story, and he made the same joke as me. And all I could think was, "I love us." And not "us" as people like we're the coolest or something. I mean "us" as a couple. The way that we get each other and come up with the same jokes. So I wanted to make a page about how we're often on the same wavelength, cut from the same cloth and all that.
I wanted the conversation to be my journaling for the page (white strips on the top right side of the page). The problem is that I made the page on Wednesday, and I can't for the life of me remember what the story was or what the joke was. Dave and I brainstormed for half an hour. Nada. Just that it was funny that we made the same obscure joke. So, no journaling. I might add some if I ever remember what we said, or I'll write it down when it happens again. Grrr.
If you're not busy, you can swing by Crop Paper Scissors and pick up the supplies.
Happy work week. ; )
