Hi friends,
Sometimes people assume that since I don't have children, I don't have anything worth scrapbooking. For me, it's important to scrapbook about my relationship with my husband, daily life, and myself so that one day, my daughter can look at those pages.
For this page, I wanted a record of little material things that I love. I fully expect my daughter to use this page to tease me ("You actually wore those shoes?!?!"), but it's a fun time capsule.
The photos of this aren't great, but you get the idea.
Cardstock: Bazzill. Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye. Letters: American Crafts Thickers, Delight. Flower, brad: Bella Blvd. Thread, canvas.
I only used one sheet of two-sided patterned paper. I just cut a big square out of the center then adhered it onto cardstock, then the cardstock onto the outer square of patterned paper. Some tightly cropped photos and a few runs through the sewing machine, and voila. Easy peasy, Japanesy.
We're headed to San Antonio this weekend to visit Dave's grandma. Here's what we did last time we visited San Antonio Grandma.
the "wet drippy house" :
fish tacos from The Cove:
and a lovely stroll through the park:
Here's hoping for another magical weekend.
Have a good one. ; )
