After a few months of emailing friends and family large photos of scrapbook pages, I've decided to start a blog. This blog will be largely dedicated to sharing my scrapbooking pages, projects, and photography, which are intrinsically connected to my personal life.
So, welcome to my blog, and thanks for stopping by. ; )
That said, how about a page?
patterned paper: The Girls' Paperie, Paper Girl line, Cabbage Rose and Newsprint Scallop. letters: American Crafts Thickers, Lullaby (pink), Delight (green). journal block: Making Memories, Noteworthy Delaney. flower: Prima. punches: Martha Stewart monarch butterfly, classic butterfly, and 3 in 1 classic butterfly. resin embellishments: Anna Griffin, Carolina Collection. rhinestones: Kaiser. brads.
This page reflects how I'm feeling about my life right now. We're in a bit of a restful "season" for the foreseeable future. We're settled into a good groove, so we're taking advantage of it by visiting lots of family in the next few months. I'm getting in touch with friends who were on the back burner as I finished the CPA exam. And Dave and I are making each other laugh...a lot. And lots of movies, books, and hiking at Cameron Park. I wanted a page that reflected those moments when you can tell you're in a different phase of your life and when you're deciding what you're going to do with it. Of course, the butterflies represent change and being free, unentangled, and moving forward.
Finally, to all of the moms, Happy Mother's Day. : )
