Emmalie (owner of my local scrapbooking store) asked me to make a design team page with the new Lily Bee line, Hello Sunshine.
I took the photos over Christmas. We were visiting my in-laws in Wisconsin, and this night they hosted a dinner party with some of Dave's long-time friends. I really love the photos. They're so adorable, and they really convey to goofy moods of everyone that night. I think this Lily Bee line is perfect for them - bright, colorful, fun, and a little goofy.
Cardstock: Bazzill. Patterned paper and chipboard embellishments: Lily Bee, Hello Sunshine line. Ink: Color Box Creamy Brown. punches: EK Success. letters: American Crafts Thickers, Niki Riki. Thread: DMC. Brads: Making Memories. Pen: Sharpie. Clip: Office Depot. Buttons, ribbon.
This page came together pretty quickly. Since the colors are so bright, I picked a neutral background and used lots of white space. I didn't have enough e's in my letter set to make the whole title, so I used two 3's that I flipped upside down. (Did you notice that at first glance?) It's not ideal, but it's more important to recreate the emotion of the original moment than for the whole page to be perfect.
If you're in Central Texas, swing by Crop Paper Scissors to see the page and buy the product.
Have a great week, everyone!
